Hey there!

No worries on my behalf, I get a notification in my Blogger reading list when you have a new post up so I only come in and check on the site then! ;)

I finally started reading the Sword of Truth books last Spring after I got a Kindle for Christmas! I couldn't really justify adding the weight of a long series to my already groaning bookshelves, so e-books it is! I've read the first 2 just so I covered what was shown in the series, then stopped for the summer. Starting up again soon!

Btw, if you feel like you can add something to your blog reading list, I'm starting a new blog on my childhood litterary heroes: King Arthur and Merlin, and Robin Hood! :)
It won't be frequent posting, just when I feel like reading or watching something about one of them... but will cover anything in which they are even just mentioned! (books, magazines, comics, TV series, movies, documentaries).

The blog is still kind of in draft format... I set it up last Spring (when I finally figured out the name I wanted), but haven't had time to make it "pretty" or write the intro etc. I started writing in it this summer when my re-watching of Stargate SG-1 brought me to Season 9 and Merlin as an "Ancient"!

Anyhow, if you're curious:

It is...I'm just steamed about the ending and it colors my perception of the whole duology now. It probably wouldn't bother anyone but me, lol

Well...what I dislike is that basically the author spends two books setting up a killer story, but then at the end the resolution is like a five-minute long battle. It took very few pages to wrap everything up and that was rather underwhelming after everything the characters had to go through to get there. You don't know that in the first book, though, so that's why it's still on my good list :)

Sounds interesting, but I hate books that end on cliffhangers like that! Especially if they're by authors who take years to write the next chapter... ;)
It's odd that liking this one so much you disliked the next part so intensely...
